E.T did not know the victim or the red bandanna gang nor did she know Karl Hague or his family.

Phong knew the victim and P.B victim's best friend. Notice how Phong described wearing blue jeans and the knife hitting his knee. T.S (Phongs friend) police statement says Phong wore white jeans and the knife hit Phongs hand.
Phong was no where to be found at the crime scene, the police had found Phong days later to talk to him.
