In 1996 a jailhouse snitch whose name has been suppressed for life now, had put in a police statement stating that Karl admitted to the killing. It has been confirmed recently he has been paid by Victoria Police. Witness J was convicted of armed robbery and received a lesser sentence. The age had published an article about the witness J.
