Why did Johnny say to Shane "No, shut up I know nothin" after victim R.B was murdered.

Why did Johnny say to Shane also keep your mouth shut?!

Karl Hague and Johnny DO NOT know each other personally.

Karl Hague was not around the Asians in 1995 nor did he even know who the red bandannas gang aka main street criminals were, that Nick Munn was the leader of.
